The Georges Mathieu Committee, created in 2014 by Mr Édouard Lombard, representative for moral rights, possesses the artist’s archives, and is, in accordance with Georges Mathieu’s wishes, the only body authorized to sign certificates of authenticity. Authenticated works will be added to the preparatory files for the catalogue raisonné.
Furthermore, the Committee is actively involved, in the broadest possible way and internationally, in delivering authentication, authorization to reproduce and represent, documentation or cultural communication, in order to protect and promote his work: exhibitions, websites, social networks, enhancement of archives, books, etc.
